The Preschool and Elementary Ministry of Ogden Baptist Church seeks to teach children to Love God (in His Word, prayer, our witness, our worship) and Love Others (through our church, ministry, generosity, while on mission) all while partnering with parents in the Biblical Discipleship of their children.

We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done. He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children, that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments. (Psalm 78:4-7)

Nursery

The Nursery Ministry at OBC strives to show babies and toddlers the love of Jesus by  introducing them to The Bible while keeping them safe and well cared for. Our desire is to love and encourage each family in discipleship by being a resource for them. 

On Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, parents are greeted by volunteers who will get all the needed information for their child to have the best and safest time possible. Within the class, your child will be held, sung to, played with, and loved on.  Every child is checked and changed during each service hour and will be fed according to your schedule. For children over 1-year-old, a snack of goldfish, animal crackers, or veggie straws and water will be provided. Please include any snacks you wish your child to have and label everything with your child’s name. 

                                                                                             

Ogden Kids Worship (OKW) is our weekly children’s time for PreK–3rd grade children. OKW takes place on Sundays during the sermon portion of the morning worship service. Children join with their parents in worship through song and then are dismissed with our trained volunteers for a time of age-appropriate Bible Study. They are taught in an exciting and engaging atmosphere where Biblical truths are presented in a variety of ways: games, music, crafts, Videos, and question and answer time. The teaching follows the Gospel Project and is designed to walk through the entire Biblical story from Genesis to Revelation over 3 years.   Join us this Sunday in OKW.
